God Loves You!
God loves you and wants you to have the fullness of life that He planned for you, both now and in heaven!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him”
“Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.””
Q: So why don’t most people have this peace and fullness of life that God planned for us to have?
And what will prevent us from getting to heaven when we die???
A: IT’S OUR BIG PROBLEM
…….SIN!!
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. (to love Him and love each other). He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and freedom of choice.
We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.
“There is no-one righteous, not even one,……..For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US HAS SINNED!
…….Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever been hurtful/unkind to anyone in word, thought or deed? Have you ever taken a “sick day” off work when you’re not actually sick? Have you ever skipped paying for a bus/train fare? Have you ever cheated on paying your taxes? Have you ever looked at pornography?………The list goes on!.......We can be Proud, Selfish, Self-Centred, Unkind, Unmerciful, Backbiters, Hypocritical, Hateful, Deceitful, Lewd, Sexually Immoral…….We are ALL GUILTY of Sin in our lives!
…….Our sins are an offense against God and carry a SERIOUS PENALTY!!
“For the wages of sin is death…..” ~ Romans 6:23
…that being, eternal separation (in hell) from the love and mercy of God…….
Please understand, GOD SENDS NO-ONE TO HELL.
WE SEND OURSELVES THERE BY OUR SINS!!
…God has given us free-will and WE WILFULLY CHOOSE to sin against God.
(look at the list above as some examples of our sins against God)
BUT GOD MADE A WAY!!......
JUST HOW MUCH DOES GOD VALUE YOU??

GOD’S SOLUTION - JESUS
…….The great news FOR US is this!!........
…….Jesus, God’s one and only Son, paid the price for OUR SINS by dying on the cross for us.
Jesus willingly went to the cross, taking OUR SINS and the punishment WE deserved on Himself!!…….
We did the crimes (our sins), Jesus paid our fine!! We were bought at a price, an incredible price, the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the son of God.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ~ Romans 5:8
“For Christ also suffered once for (our) sins, the just for the unjust (us), that He might bring us to God.”
“For the wages of sin is death, (eternity in hell) but the gift of God is eternal life (in heaven) through Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 6:23
RECEIVE JESUS, RECEIVE LIFE – LIFE NOW AND FOR ETERNITY!
Please know, Heaven And Hell ARE REAL, LITERAL PLACES!…
….We will ALL go to one of these 2 destinations when we die, there's NO 3rd option!
[Heaven = ETERNITY Spent With God]
[Hell = ETERNITY Separated From God]
(We all have loved ones who have gone on before us. The Bible says that……”He (God) is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9
No matter where our loved ones were at – physically, mentally, timewise – we can pray that for them)
So How Do You Get To Heaven???
Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 3:3
Being a GOOD PERSON WILL NOT get You to Heaven!
Doing GOOD DEEDS WILL NOT get You to Heaven!
Being RELIGIOUS WILL NOT get You to Heaven!
Being a CHURCH GOER WILL NOT get You to Heaven!
Jesus said, “You must be born again.” John 3:7
